Colombian Consulate in New York
The Colombian Consulate in New York is the diplomatic representation of the Republic of Colombia to the United States. The office provides information about consular services, such as passport renewal and issuance, visas, notary services for legal documents, etc.
What services do the Consulate offer?
The Consulate provides:
- Passports and documents
- Legalization of documents (including diplomas, certifications, etc.)
- Identification cards (Medulla de Identidad)
- Birth certificates (Certificate de Nacimiento)
- Notary services
- Filing of dual nationality requests to Colombia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Justice and Law.
Hours of operation
The hours of operation are Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
