The Philippine Consulate Washington DC in the United States is the diplomatic mission of the Philippines to the United States and was established in 1977. Requirements for Applying for a Visa to the Philippines
Requirements for applying for a visa to the Philippines:
- Passport with at least six months validity and two blank pages
- Valid visa or resident card from US, UK, Australia, Canada or any country of the Schengen Agreement. If not traveling to the Philippines for tourism purposes, you must submit an official document issued by your employer indicating that you will return to work after your visit
- Two passport size pictures (must be taken within six months)
- Proof of address (utility bill or bank statement)
- Letter of intent explaining purpose of visit and length of stay in the Philippines and contact information (email and phone number).

Fees and Costs
- US$30 for passport services (renewal, new passport, etc.)
- US$25 for consular fee (dual citizenship)
- US$100 for visa application processing fee
Application Process
Applications for all services are accepted online and appointments can be scheduled online as well, except for passport renewal. The Philippine Consulate Washington DC in United States offers three types of appointment slots: morning, afternoon or evening. Each type of slot has different hours, so it is important to check the website before booking an appointment.
